David's interest in music began in the local Methodist church's children's choir. This progressed into forming his first rock band in high school in his home town of Mobile , AL . After high school , college kept him busy weekdays while weekends were spent entertaining in nightclubs around the Southeast . The road called and David transitioned to music as a full time profession . A local " adult beverage " sponsored rock band competition was won and garnered studio time and free music equipment . The band toured regionally and opened for several national acts such as The Producers , " Weird " Al Yankovic and Little Feat . Recording sessions in Muscle Shoals and Nashville finally led David to move to music Mecca Nashville for 10 years and then to Memphis , home of the blues , for another 10 . Memphis was fruitful as David had the opportunity to tour with Jimi Jamison of Survivor and Bobby Kimball of Toto . David has returned to his home town of Mobile and joined forces with these 3 very talented musicians
